Special Needs Blog Hop. This weeks topic? Random thoughts.
1. I don't know what to do about Christmas visitation for Pie's Dad and I'm having a hard time being reasonable and instead want to jump up and down and say "mine mine mine" over and over. Yeah, I'm real mature like that.
2. I've ordered most of Pie's presents from Amazon and I don't understand wtf they are doing with all that packaging! I got ONE item in a box big enough to put a herd of small dogs inside.
3. I'm imagining a herd of small dogs.
4. Mama got a surprise early Christmas present from a dear out of state friend and it was like she read my mind! Love you Jodels!
5. uhhhhh....
6. I have a poseable bacon toy.
7. Pie saw a picture of Santa and exclaimed "It's Santa!" with such delight it has made my week.

Love it. And I thought my thoughts were random :) Stopped by from the special needs blog hop.
ReplyDeleteLittle Bird got really excited earlier this week when she saw a Santa Claus toy, too. I thought it was really cute. Then I remembered we're Jewish. And then I remembered we celebrate Christmas, too! Score!!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the blog hop! Here's my post: http://www.imjustthatway.com/2010/12/special-needs-blog-hop-random-thoughts.html
I always say that when I order from Amazon. Is all of that paper and plastic and the ginormous box really necessary??? NO.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by the poseable bacon toy.....
Awesome! I got a blog mention! I miss you both and hope you're staying warm!
ReplyDeleteI like how your brain works, I like even more that you say it because I often want to jump up and down saying 'mine'. In fact I have done when my 21 month old tries to take some of my chocolate. Visiting from the SN bloghop, lovely to meet you and following you now:) Jen

I love this time of year. I don't think my kids have seen Santa yet this year. I'll have to remedy that.
ReplyDeleteMy 4yo is typically scared of people dressed in costumes, but he gets excited for Santa. It's awesome to see the kids get excited for something.
ReplyDeleteI know the mine mine mine feeling. Just a thought, maybe you can swap who has her for Christmas morning and do an every other year thing. We swap around 1 pm. It is great meeting you. I found your blog through the special needs bloghop. :)
ReplyDeleteI gotta see that poseable bacon toy...
ReplyDeleteYes! The posable bacon toy sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteFeeling you on the sharing Christmas front! This will actually be the first year my ex has had the boys for this holiday in four years- so I'm trying not to complain too much....
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of families do the split the day thing- doesn't work for us because my ex actually lives on an island and the ferries dont' run on the holiday.....
(hi from the blog hop :))
Every time my son sees Santa he yells "NOPE." Needless to say, we do not have any pictures of him on Santa's lap.
